Optimal ACCESS is thrilled to announce that registration will soon be open for our 2025 ACCESS Family program! This unique program provides essential family caregiver training for families of nonspeaking, minimally speaking, and unreliably speaking individuals aged 5-24 who require specialized 1:1 support for communication and regulation due to complex sensory-motor challenges.

Due to the continued success and overwhelming demand for our innovative support modalities, we are offering ACCESS Family Summer Intensives on a FIRST COME - FIRST SERVED basis, with only 4 families accepted each week. 

Family members, including parents, caregivers, and communication/regulation partners, will gain:

- Increased understanding of you nonspeaker

- Improved communication support

- Greater confidence during interactions

- Effective co-regulation skills

- Meaningful family connections

Since our pilot in 2023, feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, making it clear that this unique opportunity is invaluable for families.

**Program Highlights:**

ACCESS Family Summer Intensives provide caregivers with crucial opportunities to develop reliable multi-modal communication skills and practice proven therapeutic supports. Each family will be supported on their individual journey, fostering a sense of community 

and mutual encouragement.

Participants will:

- Focus on their strengths while receiving necessary support

- Engage in fun, supported activities both at our center and in the community

- Benefit from individualized supports and family therapy sessions

**Program Details:**

- **Duration:** 4 days, offered over four weeks in the summer

- **Capacity:** 4 families per week (1 individual and up to 3 family supports)

- **Age Groups:** Two SENIOR WEEKS (14+ years) and two JUNIOR WEEKS (5-13 years)

- **Schedule:** 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday - Thursday

- **Activities:** Three days at our center, one day in the community with planned and supported activities

- **Cost:** $3500 per week (Includes all training supplies, lunches, community outings, neurologic music therapy, individualized supports, and family therapy sessions)

*This program is eligible for funding through the IN Medicaid Waiver Family Caregiver Training or ESA. Sponsorship opportunities are also available. Please inquire for details.*
